Copyright & Licensing
Under the Copyright act of Canada Bill C-11 Modern VR Tours are the first owners of the photos/videos produced. We reserve the right to use our own photos, video and iGuide walkthroughs for their marketing purposes. If there is an issue with privacy, please reach out to us in our contact us section.
The client will be granted a license for the use of the photos/video for their own marketing purposes once the services are paid in full. If it is discovered photos/video have been used without permission to the photographer or paying client they will be asked to be taken down.
Payment is to be made prior to the release of any photos, measurements/iGuide walkthrough, videography.
Modern VR Tours will send an invoice once the work is completed and must be paid in full prior to the release of any photos, iGuide measurements and videography. (Videography post production turn around can be longer than next business day and will still require payment prior to their release if it is on the same invoice as photos/measurements)
A 10% interest charge will incur on invoices not paid within 15 days.
All service pricing can be subject to change without notice.
Delivery of Services
Modern VR Tours strives to meet a next business day turnaround time for photographs and measurements/iGuide walkthroughs. This will depend on the amount of volume during the time of season, how many photos were taken during the time of shoot and if any unforeseen circumstances occur.
Videography is encouraged to be delivered between 2 - 5 business days. Post production editing is done in house and can take longer due to the amount of volume during the season, date of listing, size of the property and if any unforeseen circumstances occur.
Last Minute Cancellations
Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of their scheduled time and date will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee unless we are able to fill the cancelled appointment slot.
Weather related cancellation/reshoot
The photographer will consult with the client and make a decision together on shooting the exterior. Interior photos will still go as planned. If a client would like the photographer to come back and reshoot the exterior or any interior photos, a fee to reshoot will apply.
We ask that all properties are ready prior to the arrival of the photography/measurement team. We also understand unforeseen circumstances can occur and we will do our best to shoot around any situation.
Due to time constraints the photography/measurement team cannot clean, dust, move large furniture or moving boxes etc. They may adjust items such as pillows, curtains, smaller items and turn off/on lights to ensure the result of the photo is ideal.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure photos are removed from all marketing platforms, including but not limited to MLS, iGuide, TourBuzz, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc. Please contact us to deactivate a tour through iGuide or TourBuzz.
Photo files are stored for 1 year. Please download and store the photo files once they have been sent. iGuide tour access expires after 90 days and a new link will need to be resent
