REAL ESTATE PHOTOSHOOT PREPARATION GUIDE

Here is a preparation guide for your photoshoot. You and the seller can follow this at your own discretion. We ask that the property is prepared prior to our photography/measurement crews' arrival. 

Exterior: 

  • Move vehicles from the driveway and park away from the front of the home

  • Place garbage bins in the garage or away from the front of the home

  • Remove or coil garden hoses neatly 

  • Remove any toys or pet related items from the yard

  • Neatly arrange patio/deck furniture

  • Cut the grass and remove all weeds from cracks in concrete

  • Please clear snow from driveways and any additional pathways where you'd like photos taken

All interior:

  • Turn ALL inside lights on, including lamps, under counter lights and stove lights 

  • Replace any burnt out bulbs

  • Open all drapes and blinds 

  • Conceal electrical cords. If possible, unplug anything that is not a light source

  • Turn all ceiling fans off

  • Turn all televisions off

  • Remove any rugs/material from flooring

  • Remove any personal photos that you do not want to be showcased publicly (if the picture is hard to remove, please let our photographer know and we can photoshop the removal of the picture or blur the photo)

  • Make beds and close closets. If you want to showcase a closet, please let the photographer know

  • Conceal pet related items such as dishes, toys, cages, litter boxes. 

  • Ensure each room is decluttered 

  • Conceal shoes near entrances 

Kitchens:

  • Clean all countertops. Conceal all items expect for staged objects. Please allow for one or two small appliances to show size perception, complemented by a splash of color and flowers looks great

  • Remove dish drying racks and dishes from the sink 

  • Clear refrigerator of any photos, schedules, lists etc from all sides

  • Conceal trash can 

Bathrooms: 

  • Clear countertop of any item considered to be personal 

  • Conceal toilet cleaning items and trash cans

  • Please close toilet lids

  • Ensure towels are neatly hung and fresh
